Why can't politicians just answer a simple question!?!? Eh?

I'm working on my research paper and for the inquiry section I am finding out what Republicans and Democrats think about illegal immigration.
And it's super frustrating! Huckabee has a video on his site about what he feels about illegal immigration, thank you Mr. Huckabee. I turned my attention to the Democratic party and when I couldn't find any research that would give me an actual "this is what the Democratic party feels about.." I decided to look up the presidential candidates, for surely they would address that on their campaign site, right? Nuh uh... I looked up Hillary Clinton and she had an issues page but she didn't actually talk about illegal immigration. After I voiced my frustration to Kristy she told be about Bill Richardson and I got a little bit further with that research avenue than the Clinton one.
Seriously you politicians... NOT HELPING MY RESEARCH.
Politicians should stop being so vague and should start actually being HONEST with the public about what they feel.
There's my rant anyway..

Oh. Are things like globalization, and poverty, and economic or sociological events, and divorce rates, and childbirth apart from marriage, and g*y marriages all included in political "issues"? Because they're all a pain.
