These are the times of Job

Everything hit me hard again yesterday. Boomer is dying, Diesel is gone.... I learned this song at camp and it really helped me. I wasn't thinking about how much my life is horrible because of all the people dying but I was thinking about school. I get really nervous about school before it starts, and I'll be at main campus in the fall so that is really intimidating. This song reminded me that life passes quickly and God is always with me! Always.

Matt Redman - You Never Let Go
From the album Passion 06: Everything Glorious

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
Your perfect love is casting out fear
And even when I’m caught in the middle of the storms of this life
I won’t turn back
I know You are near

And I will fear no evil
For my God is with me
And if my God is with me
Whom then shall I fear?
Whom then shall I fear?

Chorus:
Oh no, You never let go
Through the calm and through the storm
Oh no, You never let go
In every high and every low
Oh no, You never let go
Lord, You never let go of me

And I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
A glorious light beyond all compare
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
We’ll live to know You here on the earth

Chorus:

Yes, I can see a light that is coming for the heart that holds on
And there will be an end to these troubles
But until that day comes
Still I will praise You, still I will praise You

I love Job. Anyway, there are times when life can really bring a person down, but as you said God's with us and time passes quickly. Just this week with the incident Bethany mentioned to you, I was so torn up about it that it actually had me in tears, but I still had to tell myself that I'd get through it and soon it would all be over and dealt with. Sure enough, for the most part, things are okay now...but man, it wasn't easy getting there. =\
