A thought for the day....

"If you keep on biting and devouring each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other."
Galatians 5:15
We need to make sure that what we say is God honoring and isn't coming from the emotion of the moment. It is better to not say anything than to say something rashly and regret it later. If we don't watch our tongues we will end up like this snake, eating itself.

This especially applies to the Church, if we keep back-biting and gossiping how will we be able to stand? We need to be unified.

"If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others."
Philippians 2:1-4

Is that a reference to my blog? I agree with you, but that also means speaking up when you need to speak up. Sometimes, silence can also destroy the church. Unity is much needed, but the unity needs to be in Christ and the truth. Would you not agree?

I'm working on an email, I'll probably send it to you tomorrow. But to answer your first question, no my post was not refering to yours. But I'll clarify that in the email.

Woah weird, I just read that first verse like an hour ago. ^_^

My dad went to a church this morning and that's kind of messed up for these very reasons. People tattling, pointing fingers, gossiping, and blaming each other.
