Happy New Year's Eve!

I hope all of you are having a good last day of 2006.

What has God done in the past year in your life? I'll probably post about what He's done in mine tomorrow.

The desire of God is not burnt sacrifice
Reverence on the outside is no certain sign
His delight is when we become broken inside
Our God will not despise a heart thatʼs contrite

Create in me a clean heart O, my God
And restore unto me the joy that you bring
Cleanse me from sin and renew me within
And Iʼll tell of Your ways for all of my days

Out of pride have I come, bearing false sacrifice
It has only belied the hardness inside
I am here to repent. Will You break through this stone?
Will You humble this soul? Make me acceptable?

Then You will delight in a right sacrifice
In these burnt offerings; these words that I sing

My salvation, my God

You have opened my mouth now I can sing aloud
