Just won't leave

Be still, my soul, though dearest friends depart
And all is darkened in the vale of tears;
Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
Who comes to soothe thy sorrows and thy fears.
Be still, my soul; thy Jesus can repay
From His own fullness all He takes away.
-Be Still my Soul

Celeste posted this hymn on her blog, I hadn't heard it before. But I needed to read that song. I still feel sad about Boomer and Diesel and I've been wondering why God hasn't either taken my hurt away or given me new animals (that sounds REALLY funny AND horrible at the same time.. hahaha). But I needed to be reminded that I'm getting to know His love and His heart better during this time. I love the promise at the end of that verse, "Be still, my soul; thy Jesus can repay from His own fullness all He takes away."

It's hard to understand how this time is good, when both of my pets disappeared or died in a month's time, but I know that this time IS good.
